As we commemorate Bloody Sunday in 2026, fifty four years on from the massacre on our streets, we do so in the aftermath of the murder trial against Soldier F. Although not convicted, his prosecution in a sense represents the achievement of the third demand that the Bloody Sunday Justice Campaign set out in 1992.
The 2026 commemoration of Bloody Sunday, just like those of 2024 and 2025, is dedicated to those who are suffering in Palestine. Let us hope that we will not have to do it again next year.
One world, one struggle, until all are free.
